FUZZOO

Books, Toys & Animated Show

Sometimes concepts in math or language can seem a bit fuzzy to a preschool learner. So let fuzziness rule! Enter the world of Fuzzoo, a world of play and learning including fuzzy books, fuzzy toys and, believe it or not, fuzzy animated TV shows.

Fuzzoo uses visual learning techniques to illustrate ideas and concepts that are present in all aspects of early childhood education, from pattern recognition to data interpretation. Everything is fuzzy and therefore malleable, playful, and fun. Fuzzy buildings can be picked up, moved, stacked, stretched, and shrunk. Fuzzy animals can change color, shape, and size to demonstrate different concepts in math and science.

The world of Fuzzoo is peppered with appealing fuzzy animals. There’s Sally, a fuzzy frog; Amigo, a fuzzy dinosaur; and Buster, a fuzzy little imp. Music is courtesy of the Fuzztones, a country swing trio comprised of very fuzzy, very talented fish.

These Fuzzoot characters use their fuzziness to show you how ideas work and what concepts mean in real life. They’ll bake a fuzzy cake and cut it with a fuzzy knife to demonstrate simple fractions. They’ll put on a fuzzy parade to help each other learn about ordinals.

The Fuzzoo concept was developed by Scott Nash and Stuart J. Murphy, a visual learning expert and celebrated author of the highly successful MathStart series of books. Fuzzoo is an integrated package of books, toys, and animated shows primarily for preschoolers.
